2016, watercolor, ink on paper, 9 x 22 inches. Originally proposed for the City of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, this mural design showcases emblematic wildlife borrowed from Idaho's official list of State icons and emblems.
2015, ink on paper, 14 x 20 inches. Originally submitted for the City of Ellensburg, Washington, this bus shelter proposal was designed to be etched into glass at one of several Central Transit shelters in town.
2016, watercolor, ink, colored pencil on paper, 23 x 30 inches. Originally submitted for a 1% for the Arts renovation project at Airport Heights Elementary in Anchorage, AK, this design concept weaves together iconic wildlife of the Northern latitudes. Gibbens was a finalist for this project.
