Justin Gibbens
Land of Plenty ; Ellensbug, WA
This site-specific mural incorporated an American bison mount from the Clymer Museum’s permanent collection. Gibbens fleshed out the rest of the bison's body directly on to the wall and adjacent pillar as a part of a group exhibition where members of PUNCH gallery riffed on western art themes in July of 2015.
